Neutral silicone is the recognised product within the industry for best practice and if often specified by developers and architects. They have always been known for their better adhesion on PVCu substrates and window installers are predominantly using the product for perimeter sealing between PVCu and brickwork which makes the bond to PVCu critical.

Other Acetoxy silicones have a strong odour which smells similar to vinegar whereas Neutral Silicone does not produce acetic acid when curing and therefore does not have the odour.
