Low Threshold for Residential Doors
A new low threshold for all types of residential doors, making access simpler for the disabled, elderly and parents with pushchairs. Suitable for open in or out residential single or double door options, the new ergonomically tested threshold reduces the step height to one of the lowest effective heights in the industry. This makes it perfect for those with restricted mobility or for use between main living accommodation and conservatories or other extensions. Thermally broken to meet thermal bridging and insulation requirements, the threshold is available with optional clip-in internal auxiliary ramps making it ideal for use with carpeted, tiled or wooden floors. Non-slip surfaces ensure safe grip in wet conditions.
Compatible with many different frames and door materials, the threshold conforms to Part M of the Building Regulations and is tested to PAS 23 and 24 and BS 6375: Part 1: 2009 and complies with Lifetime Home Standards.
The low threshold products have been specifically designed and developed to help installers save time and improve their profits by being straight cut with no routing or end milling required.
Internal end caps make fitting or replacement, if needed, an easy task. These profile related end caps contain a unique drainage channel, ensuring rainwater fully drains away from the entrance.
The threshold is available in Silver as standard. Gold and Black are available on request in pack quantities of 8 x 3m (24m).
